Today, December 28th 2015, is the 83rd birth anniversary of the late Indian entrepreneur, Dhirubhai Ambani. In December 2002, a stamp of face value Rs. 5 was issued to commemorate the founder of the Reliance Group. The stamp was also issued as a memorial to the late industrialist. It depicts the trademark portrait of Dhirubhai Ambani against a blue-purple background.
